Matt Sweeney is an Originator at Largo Capital, based in the firm’s Manhattan office. Before joining Largo, he was a Capital Markets Associate at a boutique commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm in New York.
Matt specializes in debt and structured finance originations across all property types, including hotels & resorts, retail, industrial, and multifamily. He leverages Largo’s twenty-seven correspondent lender relationships — in addition to banks, credit unions, LifeCo lenders, CMBS conduits, and debt funds — to source tailored financing solutions. Whether the assignment involves a stabilized asset, repositioning, or ground-up construction, Matt’s ability to clear the market enables his clients to secure the most competitive capital.
Matt earned dual degrees in Finance and Legal Studies from the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School.
